Our automotive client is a market leader in luxury and high volume off-road vehicles, designing and manufacturing in the Midlands.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- The management of issues, driving of issue resolution and tracking of the correct geometry in conjunction with cost reduction activities in support of virtual series
- The facilitation and progression of prototype and production component and tooling engineering releases (T and P releases) and the tracking of component maturity
Skills Required:
- Project Planning and Control skills
- Good communication, interpersonal skills, self-confidence and a `passion for the product`
- Self-motivated and able to deliver with minimum supervision
- Ability to assist in the resolution of business, technical and process issues within a Project Team environment
- Evaluate the progress of Quality, Cost, Functional and Timing status for all engineering areas
- Previous experience within Core Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Launch experience are desirable as is a good knowledge of product development processes.
- Experience of project or supplier management, meeting demanding timescales, budget control and cost-effective delivery
- Be qualified to HND/degree level. Must have a full driving licence as inter-site travel required.
