My client one of the countries leading suppliers of CNC machine tools to a wide range of metal manufacturing companies across a variety of engineering sectors.

Preferably, you will have had success in selling metal cutting tools.
You should be comfortable reading Engineering drawings and ideally you will have a Mechanical Engineering qualification or will have served a technical apprenticeship.
Alternatively, you could have experience in CNC machining or programming machines and sold a similar product into the Manufacturing, Automotive or Aerospace sectors

Customer contact development and sales management of our extensive range of high quality new, used and reconditioned CNC machine tools within the Yorkshire and Humberside area, also separate roles available in the North West, and the West Midlands.
Key responsibilities
Applicants should have a proven track record in the generation, development and finalisation of sales leads and possess a good understanding of machining processes, CNC machine tool technology and commercial issues.
Forge key relationships with existing clients and develop new business opportunities increasing customer awareness, sales and technical support
Be able to communicate to all levels including board level as well as detailing product specifications. You will have a passion and hunger for developing new business via a project management approach.
