Waste Management and Soft Services Specialist

Our client is a leading prestige automotive manufacturer.

They are currently seeking to recruit a Waste Management and Soft Services Specialist on a 12 month contract basis to provide technical and operational expertise in the Waste Management, Soft Services, Switchboard and Lifestyle Shop Department in the UK and Ireland.

Reporting to the Manager, Waste Management, the individual will be responsible for the following:

* Waste Management, Recycling, Cleaning, Landscaping (internal and external) and Pest Control.
* Managing service providers according to KPI"s relating to technical and financial performance.
* Ensure associate satisfaction and zero business interuptions from the responsible services.
* Continuously review the appropriateness of the SLA"s to the production processes.
* Ensure legal compliance of the responsible services.
* Liaise with Technology representatives (including Director level).
* Manage multiple sites from one location.
* Control of waste administration - consignment notes and hazardous returns.
* Control of cleaning supplies from internal store.
* Validating invoices and generating payment requests.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

* Degree, HND or other associates qualifications in management.
* Previous experience in managing an SLA contract - preferably within Soft Services and Waste Management.
* Knowledge of waste disposal techniques, technologies and waste legislation.
* Awareness of relevant Health, Safety and Environmental issues.
* Knowledge of tender specifications and procurement processes.
* Ability to use standard and bespoke IT systems
