One of the worlds largest utilities, focused on delivering energy safely, reliably and efficiently. My client is looking to recruit on a contract basis a Project Engineer with a specific purpose to carry out SIL assessments in line with IEC61508 standards.
Home based and covering sites across the UK you will be comfortable with dealing with electrical line drawings and carrying out EHAZID studies, SIL demonstrations and SIL target assessments.
The role requires a strong electrical engineer with knowledge of compressor High Voltage electrical drive systems. You will ideally be a chartered engineer with Safety Integrity Level assessment experience, candidates with relevant electrical commissioning experience and SIL experience are also highly desired for the role.
The role is a contract position initially for 6 months but the possibility of being a long term contract and has an hourly rate of £60p.h, but for candidates with relevant skills the rate is negotiable to meet your requirements.
