Pipeline Technician

Our client is a global utilities business who are focused on delivering energy safely, reliably and efficiently. They are currently looking to recruit on a contract basis a Pipeline Technician to work in the North East on a 6 month contract.
You will be responsible for performing routine and non-routine maintenance across a number of sites in the North East. These will include routine inspections, overhauls and examinations alongside defects of varying priority and outstanding long term maintenance requirements. You will need to have proven experience of undertaking corrective maintenance in break down situations.
You must have Safe Control of Operations documentation and experience of maintaining high pressure gas transmission plant including terminals, compressor stations, pipelines and above ground installations. This is a mobile role and you will need to hold a valid current driving licence.
This is a six month contract role based in the Bishop Auckland area paying up to £20 per hour.
