Detailed Responsibilities: Validate and approve all market group/NSC PDL`s ensuring integrity of group specifications. Seek opportunities to consolidate group/NSC product availability and identify and implement complexity reduction opportunities. Minimise NSC brochure involvement by ensuring that each NSC brochure is tailored to be a mirror image of the PDL/entity deployment. Develop and maintain an entity chart for the market group and each NSC for each CV vehicle line. Lead the localisation and implementation of all centrally produced Dealer Training materials using the PDL as the source for accurate specifications. Act as the focal point to assist and champion NSC requests for information on product and consolidate and pursue any new product requests on a market group basis.
Develop a market group approach to actively encourage the markets within the group to act with a single voice. Organise and lead market group meetings ensuring a close and coordinated approach between all the markets in the group and the central marketing team. Facilitate timely and clear communication of NSC homologation requirements that affect product direction. Consolidate group NSC input on ad hoc assignments. Consolidate NSC mix input. Coordinate PPMR B and Final pricing market group meetings. Provide support for NSC AutoShows specifically in terms of vehicle support and communications materials. NSC Brand Managers and training / communications teams in the market group. Central Product Marketing team. CV Marketing Manager. The primary role of the Cost Accountant is to support the Finance Manager in business planning and cost control. The Cost Accountant will work closely with Engineering and Operations to identify the key cost drivers in the business and to ensure activities such as Continuous Improvement, Investment decisions and Pricing strategies are based on sound financial information. These requirements will be achieved by developing and maintaining a comprehensive costing and reporting framework and by providing financial advice to support management in striving to deliver the planned growth of the company at the required levels of profitability.
Experience of costing in a manufacturing environment is desirable and you will need experience of operating an ERP system. You will also need an excellent grasp of commercial issues. Experience of designing and implementing a new costing and reporting system is an advantage, but not essential.
