Our client is a leading technical supplier to the automotive industry, and due to exceptional growth plans and current business requirements, they are looking to appoint a Analysis Engineeras such we welcome applicant who meet the criteria below:
- To support CAE activities relating to our Automotive engineering consultancy
- Produce meshed models
- Apply appropriate boundary conditions
- Perform linear FE analysis and interpret results
- Report out on component stress, stiffness and modal performance
- Use where appropriate hand calculations and knowledge of static structures
- Must be flexible and willing to support other engineering disciplines as and when required
- To conduct CAE analysis under the guidance of senior engineers
- Produce technical reports
- Provide advice and guidance to designers
- Must have a good understanding of road vehicle engineering
- Must demonstrate and develop knowledge of key vehicle technologies and systems, particularly in relation to mechanical systems
- Be able to use a first principals approach to understand and solve engineering problems
- Work as a part of team supporting design and validation engineers across a range of projects
- To be able to work both as a part of a team or as part of a client s team as required
- Be methodical and rigorous in analysis approach and record keeping
