We are seeking an experienced Systems Service Engineer with min 4 years experience of installing, maintaining and configuring Distributed Control Systems.

Experience in Oil and Gas industry with knowledge of Fire and Gas or Emergency Shutdown systems and knowledge of PC configuration and PLC systems is a definite advantage.
You will be expected to work to the highest safety and quality standards, with minimum supervision.

• Represent our client in all customer interactions in a manner that is consistent with our client values
• Observe and operate both our clients and customer safe systems of work, complying with all legislation
• Maintain customer equipment to required standards providing corrective and preventative maintenance solutions. Identifies and scopes opportunities to develop our client s offering to the customer, liasing with the appropriate Our client staff
• Leads others in the installation of our client and 3rd party equipment to meet customer specifications and development needs
• Provide, maintains and customises site service feedback documentation as required by the contract and ISO9001:2000
• Maintain effective, timely communication with the Branch in respect to customer feedback and invoicing
• Configures PLC s and SCADA systems in a structured and robust manner. Also able to diagnose and resolve configuration issues in this type of system
• Undertake system installations and upgrades on live process
• Understands customer needs and is able to resolve issues through knowledge of customer sites, technical knowledge and contacts.
• Undertake On-call cover
