Quality Engineer

Our client is a prestigious automotive manufacturer and is looking to recruit a Quality Engineer to develop and approve supplier`s processes and quality systems.
As Quality Engineer you will be responsible for closure of all supplier quality problems from pre series, production and after sales. You will have responsibility for delivering all project milestones as defined by the project timing plan using the systems and resources provided. You will be actively involved with the suppliers to deliver quality components and represent the client at the suppliers and defining quality and performance requirements
Experience in a parts quality or supplier development role, preferably in an automotive field. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of quality systems such as QS9000 or DIN/ISO 9001/ISO TS16949 and have the capability to audit manufacturing process and engineering experience to accurately asses and predict supplier conformance. Applicants will have the capacity to understand and relate to technical drawings and communicate effectively. You will be qualified to HNC/HND/Degree level or equivalent.
