Our client is a precision low volume, high performance Powertrain company with links to motor racing. The parts they make are very low volume to exceedingly high precision.
This is a permanent role for a skilled Grinder with a background in automotive or F1 projects; you`ll be working on very high performance Powertrain components in a state of the art facility.
You must have Landis grinding knowledge and the ability use CAD/CAM also; specialist software training on the CAM side can be given but it is essential you have the Landis knowledge.
The role requires you to be apprentice trained or educated to NVQ Level 3 standards with proven Grinding experience as it`s a role that will begin straight away. The firm won`t have the opportunity to train people without the essential grinding experience.
The experience that you have gained must be from a high precision environment and be used to working to tolerances of less than 5 microns.
