Body Electronics Component Engineer
Coventry, West Midlands, England
Our client is one of the world`s leading commercial vehicle manufacturers. Established for more than 60 years its product line-up has, more recently, moved into the design and manufacture of passenger cars, including electric vehicles.
This role is based in the West Midlands, close to the M40 and is commutable from Birmingham, Rugby, Coventry, Warwick and Nuneaton, and has occasional travel.
You will act as technical lead for body electronics / infotainment and for system architecture designs. You will have the ability to manage requirements and to use StateFlow to implement design from those requirements.
You will be able to specify component functionality and to write RFQs, plus ability to review RFQ submissions and make proposals for component selection against technical and commercial criteria.
Degree qualified in Electronics Engineering with good communication skills, ability to manage suppliers and strong organisation skills.
Ideally, you will have an electronics design or development background with an ability to undertake some programming.
