Powertrain Project Engineer
Gaydon, Warwickshire, England
£22.40 - 22.40 per hour

Undertake powertrain research projects which include internal, research partners, suppliers, Universities and governmental participation. An initial project will investigate the design, procurement and testing of a novel engine design concept. Work with core engineering teams, suppliers and internal customers to ensure system targets are defined and delivered. Management of relationships with system suppliers and partners within new technology programmes.

Skills Required:
Good communication, Project Management skills, self motivated, enthusiastic and a good team player. Demonstrable skills in supplier liaison and communication. Resolution of complex technical problems through application of system engineering principles.

Experience Required:
Experience in Powertrain technology. Base engine, friction and crank train Engine design or development experience. Good analytical skills and PC skills including Microsoft Office and MSProject.

Education Required:
Engineering degree essential.
