Machine Shop Technician

Temp to Perm Machine Shop Welder required for an Essex based company.
An established independent manufacturing company are looking for a Machine Shop Welder to work on a contract basis with the potential of transferring to permanent staff after a qualifying period.
The successful candidate will be required to TIG weld (both high and low AMPS) for stainless and mild steels and be able to assemble machined parts. Some framework fabrication will also be required.
Experience in the use of machine tools such as manual mills and lathes are also necessary.
The successful candidate must be practical, methodical and flexible within the workshops, priding themselves on the quality of their workmanship.
Must be able to read and work from Auto CAD drawings.
Working hours are from 08.30 am to 5.00 pm with 1 hour for lunch, Monday to Friday. Some overtime may be required.
