Software Engineer - ITS Infotainment
Coventry, Warwick, Birmingham and Leicester.

Our client is a leading supplier of advanced automotive technology, systems and components for all of the world"s major automakers.
Our client is now recruiting for a Software Engineer in infotainment / ITS.

This opportunity is based in Warwickshire close to the M6 / M1 and is commutable from Warwick, Birmingham, Leicester and Rugby.
Responsibilities would include: Supporting software design, developing software, analyzing customer requirements, writing and maintaining software design specifications, testing prototype and production code, continuously developing technical and personal capabilities.

Desirable Qualifications and skills:
Embedded software or related engineering degree or equivalent experience.
General office PC (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), automotive embedded system design / development, Ethernet, C++ templates / patterns in OO applications, Linux / Posix, multi-threaded applications, Eclips, Clearquest / Clearcase, Doors, quality processes (e.g. FMEA)
Previous experience in a production-oriented role (get product out on time), experience of quality management processes, experience in design and delivery of electronic system software / requirements / product.
