Project Management Engineer to support EPMT leaders. Responsible for ensuring programme delivery to all timing and functional requirements. Key activities will be the planning and delivery of prototype builds, maintaining programme metrics and reporting status at both internal (PT) and external (Vehicle Team) Project Reviews.
Skills Required:
Excellent communication and team working skills will be required. Good IT skills on generic modern business software with a willingness to learn OEM unique software. Ability to lead and negotiate the resolution of business, technical and process issues within a project team environment. Ability to present project information to all levels of the business.
Skills Preferred:
Ability to use net meeting and audio conferences with confidence.
Experience Required:
A minimum of 3 years experience within Powertrain Project management and/ or engine design delivery is required. Experience of supplier management , meeting demanding timescales, budget control and issue resolution will be required. CATIA V5 and Teamcentre experience would be beneficial.
Experience Preferred:
A working knowledge of our client's processes (GPDS, AIMs, WERS etc) would be beneficial.
Education Required:
Degree level qualification in an engineering discipline or a minimum of 5 years experience within engine design and delivery.
