Project Coordinator - ITS Infotainment

£25 per hour
Client is a leading supplier of advanced automotive technology, systems and components for all of the world"s major automakers.
We are currently seeking to recruit an ITS Infotainment Project Coordinator on a 12 month contract basis.
The role is predominantly based in the open-plan ITS department in the Coventry office, although approximately 30-50% of a typical week will be at the customer's site during development and delivery phase of the project cycle. Regular travel to the customer sites and occasional travel to other offices is required.
Reporting to a Project Leader/Principal Engineer, the individual will be responsible for:
* Supporting engineering projects by managing plans, status, issue and resolution profile. * Reporting internally and to customers
* Identifying risks and propose countermeasures
* Work with engineering, sales, and logistics teams to ensure a clear and common understanding of the project state.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
* HNC / Degree or similar experience in an Engineering-related field.
* Trained in IBM Rational toolset (e.g. ClearQuest), MS Project, PC tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
* Experience of coordinating complex projects in an electronics-related field.
* Automotive industry experience.
* Analytical approach to problems, data, good use of information to build and present a point of view.
* Communicates clearly and confidently
* Friendly and approachable
* Happy to work in a consensus-based environment.
* Manages stressful timescales well.
* Full driving license, willing and able to travel within the EU at short notice, occasional weekend working, early starts, unsociable hours. Occasional travel
