EPS - Test and Validation Manager
Solihull, West Midlands, England

This role is based at our prestigious technical centre in the West Midlandsl. With additional technical centres and multiple plants throughout Europe, Asia and the Americas, you will have local responsibility in the UK, but also be part of a larger, global team responsible for validation of the range of TRW steering systems worldwide.
What you'll do
-Plan and oversee the test schedule and determine best use of resource to meet the demands of the engineering programme
-Supervise the planned testing ensuring specifications are followed and timing plans are met
-Ensure timely reporting of test results
-Manage and coordinate the testing of samples as part of the overall validation process
-Monitor and oversee the department's financial performance in order to achieve budget targets
-Identify test equipment requirements (both short and long term), produce appropriate specifications and liaise with suppliers for procurement
-Coordinate and liaise with other laboratories to share best practice and maximise equipment utilisation by transferring work or skills as appropriate
-Ensure departmental compliance with the relevant quality standards
-Day to day supervision of the department
