Due to an aggressive growth program and a significant need to achieve annualised savings we are recruiting for successful Senior Commodity Managers, who meet and surpass the requirements below:

The successful candidates will have a solid business acumen and preferably a background in management consulting, purchasing and cost excellence. Project management experience is a prerequisite and preferably you have a relevant higher education where you were at the top of your class.

You will identify and drive a broad range of procurement projects beyond and above TCO, negotiations and traditional contract management.

You will run workshops with the relevant lines of business and suppliers to bring a collective know-how to the table. You will learn and co-develop new tools and techniques that will change how the client manages and grows the supply chain

• You have a strong analytical mindset
• You are a spend entrepreneur and can demonstrate the ability to identify savings opportunities and convert them into financial returns
• You can effectively plan, prioritise, execute, and follow-up in a timely manner on your projects and anticipate problems and roadblocks.
• You have a proven track record in delivering results in favourable and unfavourable conditions.
• Outstanding communication skills are essential and you must be able to completely own and manage the engagement of senior stakeholders.

You will be expected to work closely with global suppliers, including travelling up to 40 days per annum worldwide
