£19.50/hr Ltd Co. rate
We are recruiting for a Material Planner on a 6-month contract based in County Durham.
As Material Planner, you will be working within a Customer focused team, the Material Planner has the following responsibilities:-
* Take a role within the material planning area
* Initiate, co-ordinate and participate in activities to ensure optimum inventory levels
* Ensure that deliveries take place on the scheduled date, in the correct containers, and in the quantity specified
* Control inventory levels for outgoing parts to eliminate RSSM costs
* Perform all tasks to sustain CPS
* Performance levels
* Attend regular client NPI meetings
* Manage workloads within the team on a daily basis
* Collate and report monthly performance figures
Skills / Experience.
* Excellent interpersonal communication skills
* Experience in Logistics
* Knowledge of Glovia and MRP systems would be an advantage
* PC skills are essential
* Ability to work well in a team environment
* Self motivated with good attention to detail
