A first tier supplier to the global aviation industry and a leader in the manufacture of highly complex composite and metallic aerostructures and engine products. The company is equally focused on military and civil markets.
Based in the Isle of Wight at one of their premier sites, this multi faceted role will contribute to the direction of the business over the coming years.
The position is to principally writing CNC programmes (G code) including the associated kinematics with a view to modify and improve automated manufacturing processes. There is a strong maintenance bias to the role, in particular the programming of PLC"s.
An aerospace background is ideal, with particular understanding of actuators, encoders, sensors or other electromechanical components.
We are looking for a degree educated person (mechanical engineering or mathematics/applied mathematics or electronics/software design) who wants a varied and challenging role.
The role is permanent with an immediate start, on offer is a very good salary plus benefits.
