Cost Reduction TVM Project Engineer to work in the Powertrain department.

Skills Required:
Self motivated and driven. Good communication skills and ability to deliver results quickly in a challenging environment. Must be able to engage individuals at all levels of the business and chair progress meetings with managers, to drive projects through to delivery. Must be able to compile and present high quality reports for management consumption. Good basic financial acumen, Investment costs, RandD costs, Material cost, rate of return. Capable in Microsoft tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Microsoft Project an advantage. Previous exposure to OEM releasing systems, such as WERS, would be an advantage.

Experience Required:
Managing the delivery of complex engineering lead projects in a challenging environment, automotive, aerospace or similar. Experience in a value management and cost reduction environment (TVM) a benefit. Experience of supplier management and/or assembly manufacturing experience a benefit. Previous experience of OEM programme management and releasing tools including WERS would be advantageous.

Education Required:
Degree preferred, but not essential. Educated to HND/HNC level is a minimum requirement.
