An opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Engineer to work with an established automotive first tier supplier based in the West Midlands. Dealing with many of the largest and most successful automotive OEMs in the world, this is an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer looking to take their next step in a challenging but collaborative environment.
As Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for:
? Mechanical Manufacture, Fabrication and Assembly of special purpose equipment.
? Completion of Automation projects to a machine fixture specification on budget and on time
? Mechanical Specification and completion of Automation project modifications to key production equipment.
? Support and coordinate the Automation team's tasks
? Completion of work packages with regard to LOLER, PUWER and Control European (CE) regulations
? Control of component ordering with a cost effective approach to budget adherence
? Capture of comprehensive Automation project data for equipment history and "lessons learnt" purposes
? Coordinate with Man Eng dept for internal equipment modifications and future installations
? Mentor, support and develop the Maintenance Apprentices
