Maintenance Engineer
Castle Bromwich, West Midlands, England

Our client is a leading manufacturer of automotive body panels for many of the world`s leading vehicle producers.

They currently have a temporary requirement for approximately 3 months for a Maintenance Engineer to provide bolt on shift cover, to support the production department.

Hours of the shift are: Fri 21.00 - 07.00, Sat 18.00 - 06.00 and Sun 18.00 - 06.00

Reporting to the Press and Site Facilities Supervisor, the individual will be responsible for

* Actively participate in all areas of TPM proactive and reactive.
* Promote and participate in continuous improvement culture.
* Communicate with colleagues effectively.
* Update Tapestry system for TPM
* Assist in identification of spares stocks to ensure breakdowns are covered, that 'no parts' situations are minimized and that 'critical' spares are available.
* Identify process and method improvements and cost saving opportunities to appropriate personnel.
* Advise and train other maintenance operatives as required, assist in TPM training.
* Work overtime as required.
* To act in a safe manner and highlight any health and safety risks.
* To ensure housekeeping is maintained to the highest standard.
* To ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the company's quality requirements.
* Any other Ad-hoc duties as required.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

* Time served Engineer
* 3 years minimum maintenance experiences including PLC's, automation and assembly.
* Excellent fault finding analysis.
* Computer literate.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Ability to work under pressure to tight time scales.
* Self motivated and task oriented.
* Strong team player.
* Able to use initiative.

DESIRABLE ATTRIBUTES:

* Ideally skilled in both mechanical and electrical functions.
* FLT driving licence preferred.
* Scissor lift.
