Powertrain Project Engineer

£22.40 - 22.40 per hour
Part of the role requires resolution of issues by the individual where appropriate and communication of the issues back to engineering at Gaydon and Whitley, where resolution is not immediately accessible.
Job Requirements
Skills Required:
Good overall Powertrain system knowledge with experience in transmission and driveline components. Computer literate in Google, PowerPoint, Excel and Microsoft Project. Valid UK driving licence. Ability to interface directly to the vehicle, manufacturing, supplier and engineering teams and represent the Powertrain Department. Flexible, adaptable and excellent communicator, both Written and Verbal.

Experience Required:
Proven powertrain system design/development experience is essential.
Experience Preferred:
Knowledge of our client's specific processes, ideally gained in Product Development environment. Knowledge of the Solihull site.
Education Required:
It is anticipated that applicants will be educated to a degree level in an engineering or automotive discipline. However candidates with significant Powertrain experience will also be considered.
Applicants MUST have proof of immediate and valid eligibility to work full time in the UK.
