EPS - Validation Engineer
Solihull, West Midlands, England

This is a very fast-paced sector requiring advanced planning and problem-solving skills for programmes with short design cycle times. The role requires someone who works well under pressure, has good mechanical and technical knowledge, good planning and organisational skills, and excellent verbal and written communications skills.

What you'll do
-Working closely with VM customers to develop and understand test requirements, defining the DVPandR and assisting in the resolution of test failures through investigative work.
-Taking responsibility for the accurate recording of product behaviour, performance or condition during and after test, collating test and strip-down data. Producing and presenting clear and professional technical reports to the customer
-Working closely with Test Engineers to devise, review and accurately follow test specifications and timing plans.
-Coordination and control of validation samples from ordering, build, testing and strip down.
-Raise awareness of test results, failures or problems and input into the development process by attending DFMEA, design reviews, DRBFM, DRBTR workshops.
-To oversee the testing / checking of prototype samples and assess for suitability for subsequent release to customer for validation.
