Operating from a 6,000 sq m site in Worcestershire providing fabricated and tubular assemblies, supplying to leading names in the diesel engine and radiator manufacturing markets. They now turn over c£12m and predicitions are that this will continue to grow.
The role will manage a team of 9 (Quality Engineers, Inspectors and Engineers who are prospective Engineers) and is a hands on role as the key focus they miss is day to day leadership. The production is very manual at times and errors can occur unexpectedly so they maintain a very flexible approach to production so an error can generally be rectified within a day, so dynamism and a proactive nature is vital to ensure unplanned events don't mess plans up too greatly. The position offers a great opportunity to be a part of a successful and evolving management team, so would suit an ambitious and driven character who has a proven track record within Quality Management in a dynamic and challenging Mnaufacturing environment, you must be customer focussed and be comfortable at thinking on your feet to reach resolution quickly.
