Commercial Vehicle Design Engineer – Rural Lancashire - £25 to £27 per hour
Are you an experienced CAD Designer with a working knowledge of Pro-Engineer?
If so, a fantastic opportunity is available, providing tremendous variety in your day to day work, including design scheme packaging, manufacturing and supplier liaison and detailing. This is no ordinary role. You will be working as part of a small multi-functional team for a major internationally acclaimed truck manufacturer.
In response to market demand, they are looking for someone with experience in some or all of the following areas:-
- Design experience in a truck or commercial vehicle environment.
- Working knowledge of Pro- Engineer CAD.
- Commercial vehicle body design/interface experience
- Chassis packaging or installation
- Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) design experience
- Experience of a manufacturing focussed design environment (DFM)
Those with extensive CAD design experience in areas such as box bodies, tail lift vehicles, tankers or municipal vehicles may be considered for Pro –Engineer conversion.
