Located close to the Warwickshire countryside the Centre is commutable from Coventry, Birmingham, Leicester, Warwick, Stratford, Northampton, Milton Keynes.
An opening now exists for an experienced Chassis Brakes and Stability Controls Engineer to join the team. A very competitive salary, car allowance and benefits package is on offer.


The main activities and tasks for this job are to:
- Support and lead as applicable the delivery of stability control system projects from concept to production
- Engage in all aspects of Stability Control System design, specification, test and development from planning and preparation integration on vehicle, execution of test and production implementation
- Support / lead as applicable the generation of system targets and the adoption or creation of applicable test, development and design standards, guidelines and procedures
- Support the generation and maintenance of system and component level DVP and FMEA
- Liaise with other engineering disciplines and deliver holistic resolutions to issues
- Support and liaise with suppliers and customers during project activities regardless of location
- Support the development of hardware in the loop (HIL) and virtual testing, simulation and analysis
- Support will be focussed upon passenger cars, with some commercial vehicle applications
Candidate ideal core requirements are:
- A Degree or similar qualification
- Strong numeracy and literacy
- A minimum of 5 years in the automotive industry
- Good logical reasoning
- Able to demonstrate depth of knowledge in the integration development and verification of vehicle stability control systems on passenger and or commercial vehicles
- Experience in vehicle test and development driving including limit handling is desirable
- Demonstrates general knowledge of Chassis systems and vehicle dynamics
- Demonstrates general knowledge of understanding of vehicle electronics particularly vehicle networks / CAN systems
- Experience in the use of vehicle dynamics simulation packages and HIL systems would be advantageous such as Carmaker, MATLAB or ADAMS
- Full driving licence
- Chartered or working toward this status
