Issue Resolution Analyst

Our client is a prestigious Logistics company, handling movement of vehicles and parts for a major automotive manufacturer. We are seeking to recruit a Issue Resolution Analyst on a ongoing contract based in Leicester.
As Issue Resolution Analyst, you will effectively reduce and manage Receiving Issues within the Supply Team to agreed KPI target levels.
Main duties of the role includes:
* Manage and monitor the status of Receiving Issue on a daily basis
* Establish root cause and implement corrective actions with Key Suppliers to resolve issues and prevent issues recurring
* Escalate where appropriate any issues / areas needing attention.
* Work to agreed Key Performance Indicators
* Required to work cross functionally with the Contract Packing Team, Planning Team, Inbound Logistics, Purchasing and Inventory Management
* To work with the Supply Base to organise the collection and return of parts in Receiving Issues.
Applicants are required to possess the following skills and experience:
* Prior experience or knowledge of Manufacturing / Logistics Operations, preferably in an Automotive environment
* Excellent problem solving and root cause analysis skills
* Must be target driven, persistent, take ownership and be a self starter
* Strong time management and organisation skills
* Excellent oral communication skills supported by good written skills
* SAP knowledge is desirable but not essential
* Must be competent in Microsoft packages
* Clean driving licence, supplier visits may be required in the UK
