Resident Engineer - Infotainment - Automotive - Coventry - £Neg
A Resident Engineer - Infotainment is required to work for a company responsible for the sales of components and systems supplied to UK based customers.
As the Resident Engineer your duties will be:
To provide customer expertise related to the specific development project.
Build strong relationships with customer's Engineering contacts.
Work collaboratively with the company business unit and support the activities and timescales of the project team to achieve the agreed project milestones and deliverables.
Support fault handling, understand faults reported by the customer, be familiar with the fault handling systems at company (MMS) and customer site (Clearquest, E-Tracker).
Support product launch, trace/solve difficulties with series production at customer site.
The successful candidate will have a proven background in project management and electrical engineering.
Experience of vehicle development either with an OEM or Tier-1 supplier.
Must hold a clean driving licence and be able and willing to travel regularly within the UK with a flexible approach to working hours to ensure business needs are covered.
