An exciting new ongoing contract opportunity has arisen for a Process Engineer for this UK leading supplier of chassis components to British automobile manufacturers.

The position will be based on site with clients in the Warwickshire and Oxfordshire areas.  The individual will be responsible for the following:

* Create generic timing plans
* Coach Engineers in the development of component design and supply timing plans
* Draft instructions for how to do each timing plan task
* Coach Engineers in the correct use of eFDVS
* Confirm eFDVS process
* Liaise with Engineers to confirm latest weight status for components
* Update BOM cost tracker
* Liaise with Finance to ensure Weight tracker and red book align
* Provide process support for PACN raising
* Confirm, develop and track DFMEA process
* Coach Engineers in the effective use of DFMEA process
* Provide build support
* Support Gate Reviews
* Change Management - Manage WERS release and tracker database
* Support tolerance studies
* Process Development

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

* Automotive background with Engineering skills
* Customer focussed
* Structured Planning experience
* Adaptable with a persuasive manner
* Good problem solving and communication skills 
* Supervisory and Process Development experience

DESIRABLE ATTRIBUTES:

* Engineering background
* Degree qualified
