Our client is one of the leading steel providers to the automotive industry worldwide, with its UK operations supplying to some of the industry's leading OEM's including JaguarLandrover, BMW and Nissan.

Due to substantial company growth and investment our client is recruiting across all engineering disciplines and is actively looking to employ a Process Engineer. This is a permanent position that can offer a competitive salary and on-going career development.

This role will be responsible for the development and improvement of production line processes whilst working with other departments as required. Assisting and liaising with line technicians to set up production lines and ensuring flow documentation is in place and updated for all roles.
You will be responsible for packaging design and improvements and will be required to liaise with clients, so travel across the UK will be needed from time to time. Supporting New Product Introduction and actively working towards continuous improvement in the business.

Ideally we are looking for engineer with a background from the automotive sector. You will have a strong understanding of production line processes with knowledge of PPAP and FMEA.
Experienced in New Product Design and Introduction we will want to see evidence of previous process improvements and also ideally a proficient knowledge of AutoCAD.
