Research Project Engineer - 23111 - 23.94 GBP Ltd Co

£23.90 - 23.90 per hour
Delivery of new technologies to vehicle application readiness, via a robust management process (GTDS). This position may include direction of a small team of engineers/analysts to assist with design and development activities. Delivery of multiple projects simultaneously will be expected.
Skills Required:
Excellent planning and project management skills. Thorough understanding of engineering principles, and quality tools and resources (such as FMEA, Design Verification Methods, warranty data and JD Powers).
Skills Preferred:
Strong verbal and written communication skills to enable communication across all levels, and with external partners. Use of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Project and PowerPoint.
Experience Required:
Proven record of managing and delivering complex projects, showing commitment to meeting deadlines.
Experience Preferred:
Previous experience of managing TSB (Technology Strategy Board) projects would be an advantage. Use of Digibuck, and understanding of CAE techniques would be an advantage.
Education Preferred:
Educated to degree level, in a relevant field or subject, is preferred, but not essential.
Additional Information:
Periods of work at Warwick University or Gaydon likely.
