Vehicle Development Project Engineer

REQUIREMENTS: You will manage customer projects within Vehicle Development Engineering working within the braking team. Role will include proposal writing, testing, project reporting and close customer liaison.

You will conduct requested project work in a timely and cost effective manner whilst ensuring a professional interface with the customer is maintained. Role will include:
-Instrumentation
-Brake testing (performance and noise) and test management to ECE and Federal regs
-Specification of brake systems/ requirements
-Generation of proposals and reports
-Test procedure development
-International travel at times
DESCRIPTION: Our client is a leading independent provider of product engineering, research, testing information and certification to the worldwide automotive industry and is based in Warwickshire.

This role is based in Warwickshire, close to the M69 and is commutable from Birmingham, Coventry, Hinckley, and Leicester.
VAC REQ :Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, you will have experience of brake development and test (including hydraulic and air systems) applying skills to a wide variety of vehicles.
Attention to detail, customer liaison skills, ability to deliver, working with overseas customers.

A current driving licence is essential.
