CAE NVH Analyst - Advanced Engineering - Automotive - £Excellent Rate

CAE NVH Analyst is required to join the Advanced Engineering Team working on high performance vehicles for an initial 6 month contract.

Duties include:

Prepare body CAE model for NVH analysis (torsion and bending stiffness and modal analysis and dynamic stiffness) and debug models.
Cascade design requirements that supports NVH target compliance (NVH target setting and breakdown to component level).
Perform NVH analysis and full interpretation of results that leads to proposals for target achievement.
Support NVH delivery working closely with Vehicle NVH team. Interact with NVH testing team and analyse test data to identify NVH issues error states and propose next steps backed up by CAE analysis.
Follow process and ensure all required information and actions are completed within requested time. Preparing / modifying meshed models of vehicle parts, assemblies and subsystems using ANSA

Solver Tools: Knowledge of tools used for NVH analysis experience in NX-Nastran, Abaqus,
Pre and post processor tools: ANSA, Hyperworks suite, Oasys suite (Primer, D3Plot, T-His)

The successful candidate must have a solid understanding of NVH and extensive experience of NVH testing or experience within a support role.

Experience of planning CAE tasks to support engineering project planning and experience in stiffness calculations (bending, torsion) on full vehicle and subsystems.
