Manual Miller - Transmission Specialist – Berkshire - £Excellent
Manual Miller with a solid mechanical/engineering background ideally from automotive/aerospace/motorsport background with vertical and horizontal milling machine experience is required for a permanent role within this Berkshire based Transmission Specialist.
Knowledge of Ajax and Huron is desirable along with prior experience and knowledge to start the job with minimal training.
The experienced applicant will:
Set, operate and run manual mill to produce parts to the clients drawings.
Consult with engineers/machinists to manufacture work-holding fixtures and devices.
Consult with Production Control for work requirements.
Complete Quality Control Plans and all documentation.
Carry out any reasonable additional duties as requested by management.
Tool making experience is essential along with experience of producing small batches with short lead times.
