An Ergonomics Engineer with vehicle cargo/towing/accessory knowledge is required as part of a major luxury off road vehicle development program based in the West Midlands. This role is part of an exciting expansion of the team responsible for Luggage and Cargo Carrying and flexibility, Stowage,, Trailer tow useability, Smoking, Electrical power provision, External Electrical hook-ups and Turning circles on future vehicles .
You must have skills and knowledge as follows:
- Sound understanding of ergonomics principles in the automotive arena
- Ability to benchmark competitor vehicles robustly and interpret data reliably.
- Ergonomics
- Interpretation of customer quality data
- Vehicle engineering in product design and/or packaging.
Being educated to degree level or equivalent in a related discipline, preferably in ergonomics, would be beneficial.
