Controls & Instrument Engineer - Refinery/Process Engineering - East London.
To provide Instrument Project Engineering services for the design, development, production, manufacture, testing and commissioning of control systems. The role is based in London with and will involve commissioning work at customer's overseas locations.
This role is working for a well known and established company who provide engineering, design and consultancy services in the process engineering industry.
Ideally you will experience of the following:
- Engineering instrument packages from P&ID's and functional design specifications.
- Design and construction of flexible PLC based control systems.
- Supporting the customer's engineering facilities to clarify and answer technical queries relating to instrument supply and installation.
- Generate instrument data sheets for procurement.
- Provide support and training to in-house colleagues as part of on-going development and improvement of instrument packages.
- Working in a refinery or process environment.
A degree or equivalent in an electrical, controls or instrument related discipline would be preferred along with industry experience.
