This is a really interesting, varied and fun role, it's multi-faceted and will offer a real day to day diversity of requirements. Entitled Driver Trainer, we are looking for a person who has experience of testing cars on the proving ground and the ability to train other people in advanced driving courses (e.g. police), it's working for a national research centre in Warwickshire and offers a good salary and excellent benefits package including flexible working.

The job comprises of supporting all activities within the driver training department from implementation of training, vehicle maintenance and instructing customers on the proving ground. The background of the suitable candidate would be someone who has had a hands on role with cars and understands dynamics or NVH who can perform the same test on the proving ground and collate and analyse the data compiled for the associated part being tested. It is essential that you have a more extroverted personality and feel happy liaising with customers, giving group talks (if necessary) and reporting to Senior managers within the organisation.

The experience that you need to have will similar to the above statement, gained from a test organisation, OEM or Tier 1 supplier with a strong technical background, ideally and ADI or ARD licence holder too but you must have a full clean driving licence to be considered. The role reports into the Chief Driver Trainer and is live because the current incumbent has been promoted, so this role already has a defined career path.
