Mechanical Design Engineer - Motorsport - Grove - Immediate - £Rate Neg

A Hybrid Systems Mechanical Design Engineer with NX user knowledge of CATIA is required for an immediate start to work on an initial 6 month contract.

General duties include:

Mechanical design, hybrid systems would be advantageous.
Solid mechanical background with moulding experience - selection of materials and specification of moulds, carbon structures, fault finding and quality issues. Knowledge of plastic moulding.
Composite knowledge would be useful but not essential.
A background of production engineering would also be advantageous or at least a knowledge of this.
Knowledge of reducing costs, build, safety of build so that we can put the tool into production.

As the Design Engineer you will have good design for production knowledge and bringing a product to market.
