A Senior Component Chassis Integration Engineer is required to work on contract for our large automotive client based in Basildon, Essex.

Position Description:
Senior Component Chassis Integration Programme Engineer
This position will involve leading and representing the chassis engineering team in Dunton for a major commercial vehicle program. The successful candidate will be the single point of contact and the interface in all program reviews, feeding back key program and chassis engineering issues. The candidate will be required to lead small teams for engineering and program issues.
Job Requirements
Skills Required:
The candidate will have an engineering background with a good knowledge of GPDS processes. The candidate will have a good understanding of chassis systems, whereby this position will primarily involve their use within the commercial vehicle industry. Good understanding of the Ford GPDS system and gateway requirements - Good presentation skills (written and spoken). IT requirements; Microsoft office programs including Outlook, Word and Excel. A good understanding of chassis system and how each can support vehicle level attributes, mainly weight, dynamics, NVH and braking performance.
Skills Preferred:
WERS system and AV-BOM experience is preferable. Good presentation skills interpersonal experience.

Experience Required:
Commercial vehicle developmental experience required. Engineering Project Management / Team leader experience required.
Education Required:
Degree / HND preferably within an engineering / science based field.
