A PMST Leader is required to work on contract for our large automotive client based in Gaydon, Warwickshire.

Description
Position Description:
Core task is to provide support to enable PMST’s to achieve their objectives. Single point of contact for project communication in and out of wheels, tyres. Owns and reports out project deliverables and provides an escalation route within wheels, tyres and programme. Facilitates problem resolution and champions wheel and tyre owned AIMs. Provides consistent process leadership for PMST Leaders / department. Represents wheels, tyres, tpms to program and attribute teams (attends PAT meetings). Coordinates and records progress through Sub-Module meetings.

Job Requirements
Skills Required:
Must be a good team player with the ability to manage a small team of engineers - demonstrable leadership skills are essential. Must have good verbal and written communication skills to report technical issues across all levels. The ability to manage complex issues is essential to balance the conflicting needs of the business within project timing constraints. Must demonstrate proactive delivery and commitment to meeting deadlines. Must have a working knowledge of OEM engineering disciplines and understand and use key OEM delivery systems (eFDVS, WERS, AIMS, GPDS etc). Must be flexible with regard to multiple site working and be prepared to travel overseas if required.

Details
Experience Required:
Must have a working knowledge of OEM engineering disciplines, with a demonstrable in depth knowledge of the relevant chassis systems and components.

Experience Preferred:
Past background in wheels and tyres would be an advantage however this is not mandatory.

Education Required:
Educated to degree level or equivalent experience and have a working knowledge of OEM engineering disciplines.
