Validation Inspection Technician
Description
The Validation Inspection Technicians primary role is to examine and report on the condition of Engineering samples that have been subjected to durability exercises (customer and internal).
They also undertake other support activities within the product development department.
Job Requirements
Responsibilities:
•Pre-test assessment and reporting of the condition of engineering samples
•Post test assessment and reporting of the condition of engineering samples
•Use of specialised lab inspection equipment (i.e. SEM, Optical Microscopes)
•Use of specialised lab measurement equipment (i.e. Zygo & Talysurf)
•Provide input into root cause analysis of failed parts
•Involvement in development of assessment techniques
•Involvement in improvements to inspection laboratory and equipment
•Involvement in Total Quality ideas for department efficiency and improvement of methods.

Qualifications & Experience:
•Higher National Certificate/City & Guilds/Engineering Apprenticeship or Equivalent in an engineering discipline
•Previous experience in a similar role/relevant engineering sector.
