The company are a local firm with a good reputation; their main area of work are high precision parts for the Automotive industry. Typically the parts are of very low volume and of very challenging complexity.
They take pride in the tight tolerances they work to and have a high standard which aims to produce zero scrap.
The CNC Programmer role is required to work in the expanding manufacturing operation. They are looking for a person to undertake a variety of Milling duties so you must have a proven track record of these two skills.
You`ll be setting up new jobs, loading and modifying existing programmes (micron tolerance) and working from complex engineering drawings.
It`s a fast paced environment so you must feel confident in your own ability to complete the task; they is the usual documentation of work carried out also.
If you have customer facing experience, that would be perfect and CAD/CAM skills are a pre requisite.
This is a permanent role based on an hourly rate; the rate is dependent on experience and to be discussed at submission stage.
