Our client is looking for an experience Machinery Specialist to optimise plant reliability, safety, cost and efficiency across the refinery by providing medium to long term engineering support within the Machinery Equipment discipline.
The successful candidate will be required to:-

Promotes the highest SHE standards and demonstrates responsibility for the safety of self and others.

Provides expertise in making sound, practical, functional decisions required during the execution of work.

Team Leader for the Machinery Engineer and Machinery Performance Technician.

Provides long term machinery reliability engineering service to the refinery; liaising closely with the refinery Area Maintenance Engineers, Mechanical Reliability Engineers and other Engineering Specialists.

Leads the Machinery Functional Work Group (FWG) activities.

Primarily responsible for developing, implementing and optimising refinery wide Equipment Strategies (EMS) for Machinery Equipment.

Primarily responsible for developing, implementing and optimising refinery wide condition and performance monitoring programmes.

Participates in the Mechanical FWG activities.

Compiles and analyses measures and key performance indicators (KPI s) as required. Interprets maintenance performance and reliability data in order to identify refinery wide improvement programmes.
Technical competence within mechanical engineering discipline (Degree level qualification or comparable; Chartered status preferred)

Proficient in the use of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) system to collate and analyse data.

Ability to take strategic leadership role for assigned responsibilities.

Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation.

Ability to work closely within discipline specific and multifunctional teams recognising and balancing functional needs against area requirements.
