An excellent opportunity for an Electronics/Electrical Design Senior Specialist Engineer - Motor Drive Systems, working in the West Midlands area for a leading aerospace supplier of electronic fuel control systems.
This role is based in the West Midlands, close to the M42 and is commutable from Birmingham, Solihull, Redditch and Warwick.
As the Senior Specialist Engineer your main role will be to develop electric motors drive products for aeronautical applications for support and development of electrical power generation/ distribution systems. You will also take responsibility for work packages involving the specification, design and implementation of electric motor drive systems through the development of power electronics and electric motor fields.
You will be Degree qualified in Electrical/Electronics, with motor control system design experience using software management/design tools such as DOORS, SABER, Mathcad, Simulink and Matlab, have knowledge of electric motor topologies and control requirements, power electronic components and their use in high power drive systems.
