Quality Engineer (Electrical)

Our client has re-established itself over the past two decades as one of the leading global innovators of quality brands and products withint the Automotive sector
Due to on going success and growth are looking to appoint a Quality Engineer (Elecrtrical)and as such we welcome applicants who feel they can meet or surpass the requirements below:
- Manage the Initial Sample Inspect Report (ISIR) system.
- Visit suppliers UK and Europe, opccasionally Worldwide
- Conduct New Supplier Audits
- Suppliers Development
- Review drawings of new products and components
- Review production/quality concerns
- Implement corrective actions
- Goods Inwards inspection, reviewing components at Goods Inwards against the drawing and if acceptable approve the components or issue appropriate corrective actions.
- Audit and approve warehouse assembled kits, report findings and issue corrective action requests as needed.
- Control the Reject System and Bonded Area.
- Create Monthly Reject Reports.
- Control Scrap System and report monthly.
- Review drawings between Design, Quality and Purchasing.
- Implement Warehouse process improvements.
- Product inspection.
- Provide technical support
