Principal Engineer - Lower Trim

Our client is one of the world`s leading commercial vehicle manufacturers. Established for more than 60 years its product line-up has, more recently, moved into the design and manufacture of passenger cars, including electric vehicles. They are currently seeking a Principal Engineer-Lower Trim.
Lead the development of the Lower Interior Trim components for a new vehicle variant into Vehicle launch. Includong sign off, DFMEA`s, DVP`s.
Act as the interfcae with supplier tracking/evaluating design proposals.
Interface with customer to ensure project milestones and gateways are met and delivered.
Interface woth other functions eg BIW,Restraints and Seating to ensure a robust fit for purpose design.
Pricipal Engineer with 5 years automotive experience.
In depth knowledge in a relevant technical speciality.
Working towards chartered status.
Ability to overcome cultural barriers.
