Development Engineer

Our client is a leading prestige automotive manufacturer. An exciting contract opportunity has arisen within the area of Development and Test.
- Responsible for co-ordination of vehicle validation and testing activities for new vehicle projects - focussed on developing test activity to replicate customer use.
- Ensuring vehicles test plans are created and cover all the validation requirements.
- Physical Steering of the vehicles within the test areas in our department to ensure time requirements are met.
- Ensuring all problems are raised into the problem management system and creation of statuses to be presented to management.
- Checking the plausibility of the results of the testing (Under our guidance).
- An enthusiastic person with an Engineering background preferably educated to degree level.
- A practical, hands-on person who enjoys working with cars.
- Good IT capabilities with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to quickly pick up other IT applications such as internal BMW systems.
- Good analytical skills applied to hardware and data.
