Software Engineer

An excellent opportunity for a Software Engineer, working in the West Midlands area for a leading aerospace supplier of electronic fuel control systems.
This role is based in the West Midlands, close to the M42 and is commutable from Birmingham, Solihull, Redditch and Warwick.
Employed as a software engineer you will become a key member of the engineering software function, and will be responsible for producing and certifying safety-critical, real-time embedded software for the clients engine control systems, covering the software lifecycle from requirements capture and analysis to fault finding and diagnostics.
Producing reports, design and code, produce test cases procedures and results. Adhere to appropriate procedures and project plans, deliver allocated work packages and tasks on time and within budget.
You will be Degree qualified, or with relevant engineering experience in software design and test using/competent with:
>Ada / C/C++
>Analytical and Systematic outlook
>Perform complex design, code and requirements analysis
>Use of application tools such as Lucol environment, UML, OOD, Artisan, Spark and DOORS would be an advantage.
